Chingreela A. Sangma is a dedicated criminal defense lawyer from Tura, West Garo Hills District, Meghalaya. Deeply influenced by the matrilineal traditions of her native state, she brings a strong sense of identity, justice, and community service to her legal practice. She began her academic journey at the NERIM Group of Institutions in Guwahati, where she earned her BA LLB (Hons) degree. She went on to complete her LLM in Criminal Law at the Amity Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (AIALS), Amity University, Noida, refining her legal knowledge and courtroom skills. Since starting her legal career in 2022 at the District and Sessions Court in Tura, she has been actively engaged in criminal defense work—representing clients, offering legal counsel, and advocating with professionalism and integrity.
