Marlehiki Langstang a resident of East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. She has completed her Master of Laws from Tezpur University (2023-2025) with specialisation in Criminal Law and Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B.) degree from the NERIM Group of Institutions, Guwahati, affiliated to Dibrugarh University (2018-2023).

Her academic background is strongly complemented by practical legal experience, having undertaken multiple internships under esteemed legal professionals such as Senior Advocate Shri S.P. Mahanta at the High Court of Meghalaya.
