Ivy Das has finished her BA LLB from ILS Law College, Pune and then worked as a corporate lawyer for one and a half years. Due to a keen interest to work on the intersections of law and public policy, she pursued Masters Programme in Public Policy from NLSIU, Bangalore. She has published a paper named “Women’s Economic Empowerment as a Metaphor: A Study of Women Beedi Workers in Murshidabad“ based on her field work experience during the course of her degree.
