Bethelda Shadap

Bethelda Shadap, from East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, has completed her LL.M in Criminal Law from National Law University, Meghalaya (2023–2025), and holds a BA.LLB from The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati (2017–2022). She gained legal experience under Shri S. P. Maranta, Senior Advocate, Shillong, Meghalaya and has interned with ACM Legal Law Firm and MSC Legal Team, New Delhi (June 2024). She contributed to a research project by NLU Meghalaya in collaboration with WBNUJS Kolkata (2024–2025). Her research interests include victimology, criminal justice, and legal reform, and she has presented at the 18th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology at the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, and the 12th Annual International Research Conference – Rule of Law in Context (SYMROLIC 2024).
